Having mixed feelings or contradictory ideas about something or someone is described by ambivalent. Ambivalence captures the sense of uncertainty and attitudes pulling in different directions at the same time. You might feel excited about a new opportunity but worried about the risks, or fond of someone while also feeling frustration. This coexistence of opposing feelings is what ambivalent communicates. Equivocal refers to something unclear or open to multiple meanings, not specifically about your own inner feelings toward a person or situation. Conflicted can describe an inner clash of strong opposing forces, but ambivalent emphasizes the coexistence of mixed feelings rather than a pointed internal battle. Opposed means you are against it, not simply uncertain or torn.
